Tell me BHiggles, where else can I go kayak fishing in Lynnville Indiana?

There are 2 additional areas I know to kayak fish in Lynnville Indiana. One is Interlake State Recreational Area. It is located just off Hwy 68, east of Lynnville Indiana. There are several lakes on the Interlake property and have excellent large mouth bass and crappie fishing. They do have a fee for fishing and launching a watercraft. For their rules and regulations please refer to their website https://www.in.gov/dnr/outdoor-recreation/properties/interlake-state-recreation-area/

The other area is Sugar Ridge Fish & Wildlife Area. This area is north of 68 on Haul Rd. This is just one of many Sugar Ridge properties. There are several lakes in this area including Bass Pit, Beaver Pit, Cattail Pit and 2 others are in the same region. One offering lake trout fishing. Many of these lakes DO have concrete boat ramps to launch kayaks, jon boats and even large bass boats.

I have fished all these lakes with great success over the years. I saw the largest bluegill in my life caught at Bass Pit. Not by me, but by another fisherman. This thing was round like a basketball it was so big. Never had I seen a bluegill that size before.

Kayak fishing in Lynnville Indiana is a great pleasure for me. As stated earlier, I fish several private lakes in this region and have fished all the above mentioned lakes in the past. Recently I kayak fished and had a great day on the water. The water was clear, the clouds were out and there was a nice breeze creating a great chop on the water. This always gets me excited about top water fishing for large mouth bass. The tried and true black and blue Strike King Buzz Bait is my obvious first choice. My secondary for this trip was the H20 Xpress CRS Crankbait. This is a recent video kayak fishing in Lynnville Indiana.
