Dick Tracy Cap Gun Found
A 1950’s Dick Tracy cap gun was recently found at the 1902 homestead location. This amazing little toy cap gun was a sure fire way into the hearts of millions of little boys all across America in the golden age of toys.
I did find a listing on eBay for $99 brand new in the holster.
The Minelab Equinox 800 was setup right on this day! Field 2 default, with the 11 inch coil is my go to relics and deep silver setting. Often I will notch out up to 23 on the Minelab while silver sniping for treasures!
To my amazement, the Dick Tracy cap gun was in relatively good condition! Just one small piece is missing on the reverse side. Hoping to find this piece still as I continue to scan this area with my coil. Read more Blogs.
This was one of my most incredible days detecting. So much awesome treasure including a Westclox Pocket Ben watch, a first year silver mercury dime, a great little silver ring with a horse and horseshoe and two underwear buttons! I had a great feeling this day was going to start producing silvers since I had spent the last few days removing shallow trashy targets.
So many great finds. I will continue to hammer this area as it has been a top producer of great relics, coins, jewelry and more!
