You can also go kayak fishing in Boonville Indiana at Friedman Park. This is just outside of Boonville, but very close. Friedman Park offers some shoreline fishing at the main lake and kayak fishing at the other lake located on the east side of the property. Both lakes offer some good bass fishing as well as other species. I have personally fished there before after talking with one of the maintenance crew at Friedman Park to assure kayak fishing is allowed.
