Tootsie Toy Found Metal Detecting
Day 2 at the new location. All of this was started by the discovery of a 45 wadcutter found in a tot lot playground. After that discovery, research led me right to the 1902 homestead area. Walking right to the treasures was a delight from just a short bit of investigation.

Unearthing this treasure was special, but after a little bit of clean up, I was amazed by the popping orange color!
Looking on eBay, there were a few examples of this exact toy, and the price is right! Most going for over $30. I had no idea an old Tootsie Toy demanded such money. To my surprise, there are other color variations of this same station wagon. Digging tons of targets on this day, the new location is HOT HOT HOT and looking forward to finding even more treasures soon!
